Spring will catch up soon...

Spring is coming-this is a fact!! This afternoon while out walking the puppies I discovered [brace yourselves] flowers growing out by the wishing well. They're finally coming up despite the snow, mud and still not warm weather! I immediately ran to tell people! Spring is coming, even if it is lagging behind. The flowers just beat it. But it IS coming! Hooray! When it does arrive, it will be cheered and celebrated by all!

The best part is warm weather=outdoor photography sessions! I can't wait to get back out in the sunshine!



Starting booking those spring portrait sessions now-they'll start going fast once people realize the warm weather is back!!

Bridal Shower

My little sister's bridal shower was this past weekend! Here are a few highlight photos from the event-including cake pops made by yours truly! (they were a big hit and I'm very proud of them <3)

Wedding Ready...

There has been so much wedding talking in my house lately (my sister's upcoming wedding, the wedding I'm photographing in just over a week, etc) that my puppies decided they wanted to get in on this wedding thing too. So they decided to play dress up....

So you see Lacey and Jayda are excited for the upcoming weddings! Actually, they're hoping to be the flower girls. Anyone wanna hire some "flower pups"?? They'll work for biscuits they said!

Business Must Have

What is my latest business must-have? My new Blackberry Torch. I seriously love this phone. And now that I am required to have a data plan that means I have access to all of my internet-based aspects of my business right at my finger tips all the time. Love? Oh yes. Now I will be notified of all facebook and blog comments and all emails the moment I get them, even when I'm not by my laptop. I'm seriously excited about this!! So here's to knowing everything right when it happens!

We have updated some things on our facebook page, including a new profile picture and an updated album of all our storyboards that we have made for our clients. Be sure to check them out and see if you are in there! All storyboards are available for purchase!

We all now officially less than a week away from my sister's bridal shower and two weeks away form our first wedding of the season! I'm so excited that wedding season is here!

Promo Materials, Paperwork, and wedding bookings

The last few days have been dedicated to working on promotional materials. We've developed some great hand outs and flyers for our clients. Not to mention some other great promo materials including some awesome custom designer folders for all our wedding clients to keep their paperwork in. I'm very excited by the new look of things. And while my table is cluttered with papers, clips, scissors, jewels, and labels, I'm extremely happy with the way things are looking!

As for paperwork-I've been working on that a lot lately too! While my eyes are strained from working on my laptop so much, I'm excited to be re-working so much! I think the new design layout is definitely an improvement.

We're very excited for the upcoming wedding booked later this month and are working hard to make sure it is a picture perfect day for the lovely couple. Hopefully the snow and mud will be gone by the day of the wedding!
